This collection includes a cutting template to create a pocket envelope, a title and card insert label, plus 10 unique swaddled babies and a showerhead. The bodies all cut in one piece to minimize effort and assembly confusion...diapers are chalked and then added to each little munchkin. Please refer to the included BMP file or the example layout (as shown) included for assembly reference---once cut, even I found a couple of the diapers challenging to pair with each baby unless I matched the shape to my original image. To recreate a similar page, you will need a single sheet of vellum (blue or white) cut into thinly tapered wedge-shaped strips that can be adhered to the shower head to convey the visual impression of water flowing from it. I've included a file for this, but personally found it faster to simply slice the vellum on a trimmer. It was quite fragile peeling it from a mat, and the trimmer involved less effort. I used sticky dots adhesive to attach the vellum to the shower head, and pop-dot foam adhesive beneath each baby...both to add dimension, and to fasten the vellum strips to the page. This project makes an incredible gift for expectant or new mothers, baby albums, shower invitations, gifts, cards and more. It is THE most popular design I've made to date, despite the intricate cutting you'll encounter around those little arms and legs! I used to cut this one by hand, and I'm afraid to relate how long it took. From this perspective...the ability to cut and completely assemble more than one copy in less than an hour was amazing. This makes a GREAT group project for shower/scrapbook parties celebrating a new arrival.
