Halloween Graveyard - Headstones

This haunted graveyard adds dimension and texture to even the most basic pages and is so versatile that I've used it over and over through the years for many things. The tree and forest elements can also be used separately. The graveyard can be assembled as shown to create a horizontal border on 12x12 pages, or cut and added to the base of photos matted on pages. There are FOUR layers of headstones...3 grey and 1 black, in addition to the forest and earth layers. If you do not have 3 different shades of grey to cut this, I've provided instructions on using just 1 shade of grey and black to cut the file. A creepy tree completes the collection. I used small ink pads to distress the edges of the headstones, earth and trees before mounting this, and stuck a piece of green eyelash yarn between one of the layers to give the impression of grass among the stones--no other detail has been added. The headstones themselves are fun to letter by hand with whatever you wish: journaling, dates, humorous epitaphs, etc. A few fun suggestions:
Help! I'm not REALLY dead!
I'd rather be in Philadelphia!
